7 Brew Manager / Stand Manager — Job Description

Overview

  • The Manager (often titled Stand Manager) oversees the full operations of a 7 Brew stand, ensuring both profitable growth and alignment with the company’s culture, mission, and values.

  • They lead and connect with the crew, handling both administrative duties and hands-on operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fully competent in all duties of Brewistas and Shift Leads, stepping in as needed. 

  • Maintain fast, clean, high-quality service by training crew and monitoring customer experience. 

  • Provide tailored feedback and development opportunities for team members. 

  • Create efficient weekly schedules that balance labor costs with high demand. 

  • Oversee inventory, small wares, and equipment orders, minimizing waste and cost. 

  • Manage cash handling, deposits, and change operations.

  • Lead team-building and bonding via meetings, events, and one-on-one coaching. 

  • Take ownership of operational issues or delegate to appropriate partners/vendors. 

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

  • Actively develop and mentor future leaders within the team. 

  • Implement corporate directives promptly and clearly.

  • Thoughtfully delegate tasks to promote efficiency and growth.

Schedule & Availability

  • Flexible schedule including early mornings (from 5 a.m.) and late nights (until ~11:30 p.m.).

  • Expected to visit the stand outside scheduled hours to coach, observe, and handle admin tasks. 

  • Must be available for weekends, holidays, and on-call situations. 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to create uplifting interactions—even brief ones. 

  • Comfortable handling hot coffee, glass bottles, dairy products; working outdoors; lifting up to 50 lbs; standing for long periods; climbing ladders; using step‑ladders and utility knives.

  • Able to operate any stand position efficiently, especially during busy periods. 

  • Situational awareness to multitask and supervise live operations while working. 

  • Strong problem-solving under pressure and comfortable giving constructive feedback to peers.

  • Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines, with leadership across diverse personality types.

  • Some experience managing large teams (40+ members) in fast-paced environments. 

  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation: 

  • $55,000 salary plus quarterly performance-based bonuses
